1) Chewing your food slowly and properly: Eating mindfully, chewing your food slowly and properly helps to digest and boost your metabolism. 

Digestion plays an important role in boosting your metabolism the more you chew the better is for the nutrients to get absorbed. Take your own time as eating too fast will create problems in digesting.

2) Eat plenty of protein: Eating food that contains protein helps in boosting metabolism as it burns many calories in digesting protein than it does eating fat or carbohydrates. 

Foods like fish, chicken, nuts, eggs are a good source of protein.

3) Drink more water: Drinking 7-8 glasses of water in a day increases your metabolism. 

Water also helps in losing weight compared to any sugary drinks at it contains calories.
